A Tuscan Villa prepping for sale and a new owner to enjoy expansive California hilltop views. Working with Mindful Construction, Inc. to create an updated Mediterranean space with designated areas for poolside lounging, cooking, fireside evening chats (pit and place!), bocce ball, and anytime entertaining. Softscape plays an important role in giving the space a lush resort vibe. 3D renderings below (All images via Mindful Construction, Inc.)

Proposed plant material highlights: Brahea armata Mexican Blue Palms for a tropical vibe around the pool + olive trees for additional shade and height. Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’ to bring softness, movement and definition between the outdoor kitchen and pool areas. Agave weberi adds sculptural focal points around the fire pit. Purple Madrid Spanish Lavender + Saliva apiana offer pollinator friendly swaths of blooms and color amidst the surrounding greenery. Olea Europea ‘Little Ollie’ flanking a classic wall mount fountain, fence-lined perimeter of Rosmarinus officinalis 'Tuscan Blue', and Bougainvillea covered columns—all must-haves for any Mediterranean garden.

Stay tuned for updates on the transformation of this space…
